Good News for the Next Generation

Written while leaving the Grand Canyon July 29th 2023

What I hear from all the messages put together - with your Spirit, this generation, this era the “good news” of the Kingdom, Jesus looks out over his “city “and sees lost sheep without a shepherd. He sees an organization calling itself the church, which like Peter is well meaning, but has incomplete information. His (Peter’s) errors were corrected by the Spirit orchestrating relationships, and visions, and messages. This generation - as in Psalm 107 - is (at times) lost, rebellious, or entrapped. The good news - the Gospel (euangelion) is that what they seek most can be found in Jesus. He is the source of our being and yet we reject him in favor of some “freedom”, (the message of Lucifer) this lie that we lose something by following Christ, is effective because we do not know or trust God's character. We are ignorant. The church has been trained away from things of the Spirit, even being led by men who teach others that God does not speak. This lie has cut us off from the Truth and taken the words of freedom out of our mouths. In our silence the lost ones live in rebellion and folly because they do not know that the real Jesus holds the keys to the fulfillment and self- actualization. The remedy of their discomfort and identity crisis. The devil lies to all of us, but the Kingdom of God offers to each of us our one true home and our one true purpose.Good News for the Next Generation
